Rewatch the Masterclass
Who Can Participate?
This is a cross-disciplinary sprint! We are looking for:
SE Program Learners: ProDev (Front-End & Back-End) and Front-End and Back-End wizards.
Creative Tech Learners: Graphic Designers, Audio & Music specialists, Content Creators, and AI for Creatives experts.
The Mission: Web for All
Your task is to take a real-world website (from a selection provided by our Masterclass Lead) and optimize it based on the 4 Principles of WCAG:
Perceivable (P): Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive (e.g., text alternatives for images, captions for video, high contrast).
Operable (O): User interface components and navigation must be functional and operable via keyboard, not just mouse, allowing enough time to read and use content.
Understandable (U): Information and the operation of the user interface must be easy to comprehend, predictable in behavior, and provide input assistance to prevent errors.
Robust (R): Content must be compatible with a wide range of user agents, including assistive technologies (like screen readers), and remain accessible as technology evolves.
